The story of JPSz Creative

From the artist John Szabo

I have always loved drawing, both realistic and abstract.

From a very early age I can remember drawing 3D race cars in primary school. This evolved into drawing cartoons and illustrations, all in black and white. I realised pretty early that I did not possess a talent for colour.

As life went on, drawing remained in the background and would break out at odd moments such as during work meetings, when instead of taking notes, I would draw intricate doodles. Some of these doodles are featured on my website.

The urge to explore and expand on my passion for drawing and doodling and to take it to the next level has led to the creation of JPSz Creative. Here I can control the narrative and share my passion and art with you all.

Zodiac Series

The idea for zodiac themed doodles began with the creation of a doodle incorporating a bull for a great friend (he is a Taurus).

The process and experience led to the birth of the Zodiac Series. Each piece contains unique star sign central designs with 100% doodle art surrounding the central image.

The creation of Zodiac circles incorporating the central design followed to allow these designs to be printed on mugs and T-shirts.

Hands

I have always been fascinated with hands. They convey strength, wisdom and when needed compassion and delicacy. They can be used to both create and destroy.

Hands are the first thing we use when greeting new and old friends, often providing the first connection between two people..

Throughout the world of art, hands feature significantly, ranging from Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam, through to MC Escher's famous Drawing Hands.

Random Doodle Art
